One of my all-time favorite sandwiches is the reuben. When made correctly it's melty, creamy, corned beef goodness on rye. Unless you make a turkey reuben, which is also good. I found this recipe which combined two of my family's favorite dishes: soup & sandwich.
It truly is like eating a reuben with a spoon. The base is creamy, made with swiss cheese and half-and-half, and it's chock full of savory corned beef and chunks of vegetables. Topped with homemade rye croutons, and MMM, MMM! It's an experience you need to have.
